Free online Services to Get Started

There are a few on line services with which you can get started in building an Internet Presence for you Business for Free.

Blogger

One of them is of course Blogger.com from Google.
You are reading one of those Blogs right now :-)

To get started with a Blog, you just need to have an Gmail account, Log into it and Go to the option "My Account" there you will find the option Blogger, if not, just choose "More" and you will find it.

An other way is just to head over to www.blogger.com and creat a new Blog, you can have as many as you want.
The URL from Blogspot are created as example.blogspot.com and you have some influence in the first part of the url, choose it wisely

If you don't have a Gmail account, you can now get one for free at www.gmail.com

WordPress

There is also a Great free Blog possibility at WordPress.com there you can create one just by filling in the username you want, but here is a little trick.

Choose you username the way you want to have your blog url named.
So if you want your url to say example.wordpress.com than you can take example as your username!

The big advantage of WordPress is that you can add pages with information in stead of only Blog entries.
So you can create more of a website than with Blogger.

Googlepages

Google offers you, next to your Blog, a method of creating a website for free with pages.

It works the same way as setting up a Blogger account, just go into your Gmail account settings and choose "Page Creator"

Or go to www.googlepages.com where you can login with your Gmail account.

You can create a website with the url that will show up as example.googlepages.com

Design Layout Options

With Blogger you have templates to choose from, and you can chance them afterwards to your liking.

With Googlepages you have the same choice and freedom.

From WordPress.com there also are a lot off templates to choose from, but mostely you can only change the header picture.
If you want to change more, there is a small fee to pay.
